I am back!

I am back! As per title, heh. I am really sorry I have been gone for a long time; I was busy sorting out myself and stuff in my life so I hadn’t really had the time to really sit down and craft with clay. I did make a few paper projects though! I’ll show you them some other day!

So two weeks back I was tidying up my clay craft work space (I have two separate work areas: one for clay, the other for paper) when I came across my clay stash:

So many different types! It makes me go crazy and excited at the same time! And I still have loads of the already opened ones stored in another airtight box! At one point I think I was just buying clay for the sake of buying something, lol.

I went through all the different clays (aka the ones that don’t already have reviews on this blog) and found these:

Air-dry clays I got from local craft stores! From left: Martha Stewart Crafts air-dry clay, Fimo Light and Paulinda Super Dough. I’m pretty sure you can find at least one from your nearest craft stores if you are in the western part of the world, but I’ll have the reviews for these clays up soon! I’m always excited trying out new clays and I’m definitely more excited trying these!

And that is all! Other than this I don’t have anything new to share, but fret not! I have something in the works right now so be sure to look out for that one! And the reviews! Talk to you guys later!

Stuff from the mailman

Hello guys! Really, very sorry about not being active! I recently got a full-time job (in a scrapbooking supplies shop, yay!) and it has been eating all my time! This means you will see less of me, as I will see less of my blog (if you miss me, just follow me on Twitter!) I am still crafting though, but at snail speed because I have so many unfinished stuff to do.

Two weeks ago, I received some stuff I bought, so I’m going to share with you my haul!

Just browning some cookies with what you guys call a “eyeshadow palette”, which I’ve blogged about previously.

Old and new

Hello guys! (^_^) I’m sure you have noticed by now, that my blog just got a mini makeover! I adjusted the width of the content area because from now on, I’ll be sharing with you larger images. More eye candy, less chatter! (…is what I want to say, but I tend to ramble on about useless things… like this.) I also changed the title font because the old font was starting to get on my nerves (~_~”)
So if anything doesn’t look right for you, let me know! I’m sure there are some kinks in my blog theme that need some ironing!

Anyway, I’d been working on some fruits for the past two weeks (more like I finished making them in a day but forgot to paint them for two weeks) and just yesterday I finally finished them. I think I really improved a lot in making these:

Strawberries. I studied the real ones so hard I almost got a brain haemorrhage (of course, I kid) But I think my efforts paid off, because when I see the strawberries I made from some time back, I cringe in disgust. :P I have comparison pictures! Continue reading…

First Anniversary Giveaway

I mentioned a while back that my blog has turned one year old, but I kind of forgot about it. It turned a year older on June 5. Anyway, now Atelier Dolle is a year old, and to celebrate its birthday I am going to have a giveaway!
